Workshop on how photographers should use Social Media

Being creative, photographers put in a lot of effort in taking the best shot – a photograph, but many a times there is a gap in giving your creativity the exposure it deserves. There is so much of behind the scenes effort which is put into taking one good photograph. Understanding this, McCollins Media organized a workshop with Photowalk Dubai at the McCollins MEdia HQ.

Photowalk Dubai, a photography community in Dubai, organized a workshop with McCollins Media and a few leading photographers, Slava Noor and Fahad Bhatti, to showcase how photographers should market their work using Social Media.

Our Director, Meghna Kothari, started off the workshop giving an understanding about the social media tools, the personality required by a photographer to promote their work and how to track the reach of their work on the digital platform.

After this, Slava Noor gave a fantastic presentation on her experience while photographing the “Evolution of Revolution” of the Gezi Park Protest.

Fahad Bhatti then gave a presentation on “The Water Story”, the photo story done during Fahad’s trip to Somaliland.
